Meet Sarah
I qualified as a counsellor in 2020 following over 25 years of experience managing a small business with my partner. Throughout my therapeutic journey, I have come to understand that the most vital qualities of a counsellor are the ability to create a safe, trusting environment for healing and to serve as a steadying presence for those in distress.
Originally from Wales, I hold a degree in English Literature and began my career in publishing. A spontaneous decision to learn scuba diving in Egypt led me to pursue it professionally. This has allowed me to work in various countries, including the Middle East and Australia. Perth has been my home for the past 21 years.
My background as a small business owner has allowed me to coach staff toward reaching their full potential. My experience as a scuba diving instructor has enabled me to guide thousands of individuals in overcoming fears and achieving their goals in unfamiliar environments.
Having witnessed the transformative power of skilled therapy and coaching, I am passionate about providing a supportive space for learning, growth, and self-discovery. I aim to help you uncover your potential and explore new possibilities, while also addressing any barriers that may be holding you back from living your best life.
My counselling practice is grounded in a Person-centred approach, emphasising the importance of recognising each individual's strengths and capacity for change. I am particularly interested in how compassion and gratitude can positively influence our outlook and overall well-being. I believe everyone has the innate ability to enhance their quality of life and live meaningfully.
